Almost after 13.8 billion year from the mass extinction of dinosaur the first of our kind(human beings) evolved. Development of the human capacity and brains led us to present era of advancement. There is still something about our history that kept us awe. Among which the most fascinating is about the oldest civilization of India.
During the 20th century it was believed, the first of the settlement in India was Vedic Civilization but after the discovery of Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro, by D.Sahini and R.Banerjee ,oldest civilization position goes to INDUS VALLEY CIVILIZATION.
Ohhh!!This is nothing surprising for us we already know that Indus is the oldest, but what we yet to know is the vanish period between these two above mentioned civilization.
We doesn't know the reason of the transition from town to villages, from development to decline, from a future to past, it's just like travelling backwards in time.
A must mention is that Indus valley civilization could not be only the oldest in India but oldest in whole world that is older than Mesopotamia.

3.Main occupation:Agriculture
4.Not aware of planning and management
5.They mainly worship nature.
6.Social division were present in society.
7.Refernces with mainly iron.
8.Houses made of bamboo and sticks or of stones.
From the columns of difference it looks like, someone snatch all knowledge and revert back to the position where they started.
With just reference to the timeline we can clearly see there is a long gap of year for which there are no records till now besides we can see how such a highly advanced civilization was at 4700 years ago but the thing that confuse us is how a civilization after that were lack knowledge, they know nothing about building drainage system,town plannning this is because harappan civilization vanished and
people just abandoned most of the 1052 cities build with well planning.
The reasons are yet to know maybe someone attacked them or they left the dream cities of their times because of some natural calmaties.There are many theories for the sudden vanishment of this civilization consisting of 5 million people but no theories are concrete, the mystery is still under curtains.
Nobody exactly knows where the people of these civilization gone, why there is no record of events from the vanishment of Indus civilization to Vedic civilization.
If people just moved from the mainsite to different mainland, then why there is a drastic differencce between the cultures of above mentioned two civilization.Actually vedic civilization people are Aryans, while Indus were those whose scripts are yet to be decipher.
