22nd March, comes every year with the same proverb "Save water " but is it making any changes? No.

Instead of debating on what future plans should be incorporated in the  existing water saving plans. Focus should be on: Why nothing has been done so far? Why only few are awaked and conscious ?? Why the shouting "Save water, Save life" has become a mere saying? Why you are just sitting and thinking of Saving but at right time forget all your pledge??
The possible answer to all these is  that WE DON'T FEEL THE PAIN UNTIL IT COMES TO US(We will never realize the worth of water until the well is dry). In other words , when each one feels the scarcity then only each one feel the need of saving it but at that time we would be very late.

We are having easy access to only 1% of 2.5% fresh water yet we don't care, we are wasting it at enormous rate, we are polluting it at large scale.
While many parts are struggling for a drop we are wasting a bucket during festivals like Holi.
Estimating the wastage of water during our daily activities will surprise you whilst make you ashamed. If you are a responsible and awaken citizen of Earth  you will start saving it from now on.
Following are some facts that might awake your sleeping persona of saving water:
1.On average, 10 gallons per day of your water footprint (or 14% of your indoor use) is lost to leaks. Short of installing new water-efficient fixtures, one of the easiest, most effective ways to cut your footprint is by repairing leaky faucets and toilets.
2. If you use a low-flow showerhead, you can save 15 gallons of water during a 10-minute shower.Every time you shave minutes off your use of hot water, you also save energy and keep dollars in your pocket. It takes about 70 gallons of water to fill a bathtub, so showers are generally the more water-efficient way to bathe.
3.Most front-loading washing machines are energy- and water-efficient, using just over 20 gallons a load, while most top-loading machines, unless they are energy-efficient, use 40 gallons per load.Nearly 22% of indoor home water use comes from doing laundry. Save water by making sure to adjust the settings on your machine to the proper load size.

With that I am hoping that you will surely add 'Saving water' in your new year resolution. On this water day take a pledge  to save our precious resource and help it in not having  watery eyes henceforth.
This year make sure "EVERY DROP OF WATER COUNTS".
